ఈరోజు కూడేరు నందు ఉన్న రాజస్థాన్ ఉత్తర ప్రదేశ్ నుంచి వచ్చి జిలేబి వ్యాపారం జ్యూస్ వ్యాపారం రాజస్థాన్ టీ స్టాల్ పెట్టుకున్న వారికి మొత్తం 14 మందికి kovid 19 ఉండడంవల్ల షాపులు బంద్ చేయడం జరిగింది కావున వారికి ఉపాధి లేక తినడానికి తిండి లేక ఇబ్బంది పడుతున్న వారిని గుర్తించి AF ఎకాలజీ సెంటర్ అనంతపురం సమస్త వారు వీరికి కనీస అవసరాలు బియ్యం గోధుమపిండి చక్కెర పసుపు సోప్ ను అందించడం జరిగింది ఇందుకు వీరు AF ecology డైరెక్టర్ అయినా వై.వి మల్లారెడ్డి సార్ గారికి ధన్యవాదములు తెలియజేయడం జరిగింది అలాగే సుజాత మేడం గారు లక్ష్మణ మూర్తి (APDMP ) nanjireddy ఎం ఎస్ ఎం ఎస్ లీడర్ పెద్దక్క వీరికి కరోనా రాకుండా మాస్కులు అందించి తగు జాగ్రత్తలు తెలియజేయడం జరిగింది.

దాతలు ముందుకు రావాలి….

అనంతపురం, ఏప్రిల్ 16 ; కరోనా వైరస్ వ్యాప్తిని అరికట్టడం లో భాగంగా దాతలు మరింతగా ముందుకు రావాలని జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ గంధం చంద్రుడు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ఇప్పటికే జిల్లా వ్యాప్తంగా అనేక మంది దాతలు ,స్వచ్ఛంద సేవా సంస్థలు, తదితరులు వివిధ రూపాల్లో ప్రభుత్వానికి, జిల్లా యంత్రాంగానికి తమ వంతుగా సహకరిస్తున్నారన్నారు. గురువారం ఉదయం జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ క్యాంపు కార్యాలయంలో ఏ .ఎఫ్. ఎకాలజీ సెంటర్ డైరెక్టర్ వై వి మల్లారెడ్డి మరియు గ్రీన్ కో గ్రూప్స్ ప్రతినిధులు అనిల్ , శ్రీనివాస రావు ఆధ్వర్యంలో పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్మికులకు శానిటేజరులు, మాస్కులు సర్జికల్ గ్లౌజ్ లను పంపిణీ నిమిత్తం జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ కు వేరువేరుగా అందజేశారు. ముఖ్యంగా ప్రపంచాన్ని వణికిస్తున్న కరోనా వైరస్ ని తరిమి కొట్టాలంటే మనమందరం చేయి చేయి కలిపి కరోనా ను ఎదుర్కోవలసిన అవసరం ఉందన్నారు .ప్రజా సేవలో మేము సైతం అంటూ స్వచ్ఛంద సేవా సంస్థలు, విరాళం అందిస్తున్న దాతలు ముందుకు రావడం ఎంతో సంతోషంగా ఉందని వారందరికీ కలెక్టర్ ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో మరింత మంది దాతలు ఉదార భావంతో ముందుకు రావాలని కోరారు. ఈరోజు పారిశుద్ధ కార్మికుల కు ఏ ఎఫ్ ఎకాలజీ సెంటర్ డైరెక్టర్ మల్లారెడ్డి ఆధ్వర్యంలో సుమారు రూ.5 లక్షల వ్యయంతో మాస్కులు శాని టేజర్లు ,సర్జికల్ గ్లౌజులను అందించడం జరిగిందని మరియు గ్రీన్ కో గ్రూప్స్ తరపున సుమారు రూ. 14 లక్షల వ్యయంతో పీపీఈ కిట్స్ అందించడం పట్ల వారికి జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ తన కృతజ్ఞతలను తెలిపారు. అలాగే లాక్ డౌన్ ఉన్నన్ని రోజులు పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్మికులను, పేద ప్రజలను ఆదుకుంటున్న వారందరికీ జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు. ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ తప్పకుండా మాస్కులు ధరించాలని, సామాజిక దూరాన్ని పాటించాలని జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ సూచించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో అనంతపురం శాసన సభ్యులు అనంత వెంకటరామిరెడ్డి మున్సిపల్ కమిషనర్ రవీంద్ర, ఎకాలజీ సెంటర్ డైరెక్టర్ మల్లారెడ్డి చీఫ్ ఆపరేటింగ్ ఆఫీసర్ మురళీకృష్ణ ,జిల్లా టూరిజం శాఖ అధికారి ణి విజయలక్ష్మి, గ్రీన్ కో-గ్రూప్స్ ప్రతినిధులు శ్రీనివాస రావు ప్రాణేష్ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Distribution of ration and face masks to migrant labourers from UP
Today we distributed ration and Face masks to 5 members (Bachelors) from Anantapur town (Santhi nagar, near Gowrav gardens). Originally they belong to Lucknow , Uttarpradesh. All are wage workers(Painting), they don’t have Govt. ration card. Due to lockdown they are unable to work outside.
Today we provided 20 days ration to them.
Distribution of rations to 4 families (19 members) of migrant workers at Rayadurg town
Today we distributed ration to 4 families (19 members) at Rayadurg town. Originally they are belongs to Jhansi , Uttarpradesh. All are doing small business i.e., Panipoori business . Due to lockdown they are unable to work outside.
We provided ration to them in the presence of Sri.Ramachandra rao, Municipal commissioner, Mr.Subramanyam, MRO and Mr.Narasinga Rao, Area team leader,RDT, Rayadurg.
Distribution of ration to migrant workers from Jharkhand
16 people migrated from Bastat, Boya, Gondai, Kulandrigadi villages of Jharkhand State and they are working as contract labours under a contractor for APSPDCL work. They fit the transformers at agricultural wells . They are staying at Ipperu Village of Kuderu Mandal, Anantapur District. In lockdown situation of Covid-19 the contractor stopped the work and the migrants have no work no pay from 22nd March, 2020. Hence, A.F. Ecology Center distributed the ration to the migrants on 13.04.2020 by Peddakka- GSMS Conenor, Yerrappa-GSMS Co-Convenor of Ipperu Village. Ramanjaneyulu-STO , Nanji Reddy-Mandal Team Leader, Kuderu and Sujatha from PME wing and 5 members of villagers from Ipperu were participated in the programme. An awareness programme on Covid-19 was conducted for migrants.
We are thinking that, migrants need further support linking with Village Secretary, Anganvadi worker and Mandal Revenue Authorities.

Mainstreaming Gender and Organizational Development – a continuous process.
AF began in early 1990s with efforts to increase the participation of women in CBOs and their involvement in decision making of watershed development. Since then, AF has continued its efforts to integrate gender perspective within AF and in programmes in various ways.
The gender perspective evolved through a process of organization level reflection and learnings and resulted in:
- Moving towards a holistic perspective on gender and its mainstreaming in the organization and its programmes.
- Increased women’s participation in its activities and community based institutions.
- Women leadership promoted with an objective that they take up village issues.
- Efforts made to understand the role and participation of women and innovative attempts to integrate women in NRM and agriculture.
- Conscious and increased recruitment of women in the Staff.
Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Livelihoods (2007 onwards)
AF Ecology Centre shifted its programme focus from watershed based to Sustainable Agriculture in the year 2007. It was done because the Government began watershed activities almost in all the villages under NREGS. And so it was not desirable for us and the Government to take up the same activities. Consequently we shifted our focus to Sustainable Agriculture, which was an equally important and urgent; and in fact builds on the watershed development for sustainable agri production and stabilising farmers livelihoods.
