AF team reached to the Tea stall seller’s ( 4 Bachelors) who migrated from Jalor, Rajasthan and staying here at Kadiri Road, Dharmavaram Mandal.
Assessed their need in presence of central team member then delivered Ration and other necessary logistics, which can be utilise for more than 3 weeks.
Also distributed the masks to each one besides make them aware about the Preventive ways to curb the spread of Pendemic Carona
Today we distributed ration and Face masks to 5 members (Bachelors) from Anantapur town (Santhi nagar, near Gowrav gardens). Originally they belong to Lucknow , Uttarpradesh. All are wage workers(Painting), they don’t have Govt. ration card. Due to lockdown they are unable to work outside.
Today we distributed ration to 4 families (19 members) at Rayadurg town. Originally they are belongs to Jhansi , Uttarpradesh. All are doing small business i.e., Panipoori business . Due to lockdown they are unable to work outside. We provided ration to them in the presence of Sri.Ramachandra rao, Municipal commissioner, Mr.Subramanyam, MRO and Mr.Narasinga Rao, Area team leader,RDT, Rayadurg.
16 people migrated from Bastat, Boya, Gondai, Kulandrigadi villages of Jharkhand State and they are working as contract labours under a contractor for APSPDCL work. They fit the transformers at agricultural wells . They are staying at Ipperu Village of Kuderu Mandal, Anantapur District. In lockdown situation of Covid-19 the contractor stopped the work and the migrants have no work no pay from 22nd March, 2020. Hence, A.F. Ecology Center distributed the ration to the migrants on 13.04.2020 by Peddakka- GSMS Conenor, Yerrappa-GSMS Co-Convenor of Ipperu Village. Ramanjaneyulu-STO , Nanji Reddy-Mandal Team Leader, Kuderu and Sujatha from PME wing and 5 members of villagers from Ipperu were participated in the programme. An awareness programme on Covid-19 was conducted for migrants. We are thinking that, migrants need further support linking with Village Secretary, Anganvadi worker and Mandal Revenue Authorities.
